THE FUN
I would not even think of buying a game where I can’t have a swell time in, and that’s kinda why it’s called a game in the first place. FIFA 18 has lots of things to keep you glued to the sofa; The Journey (which by the way is a continuation of the good first step taken in FIFA 17), Ultimate Team,” My Club”, Practice sessions and all. But of course this is very subjective to what your individual perception of fun is.
I mean I try my best to play actual matches most of the time, but I get seriously hooked trying to beat my score in practice mode or finding the right chemistry between my players in Ultimate Team. PES! Well I don't know, if you are fine playing deeply planned and creative matches against the AI or your friends, this will just do the trick, I mean in addition to online PvP and managerial campaigns. But in terms of overall content sure to either keep you laughing while doing annoying dances in your defeated friend’s faces or make you flip for missing a golden card in Ultimate Team, FIFA 18 has got you covered. But if you cherish playing football like chess, anticipating your opponents next move and leaving them scratching their heads and not giving a horse’s hoot about online seasons and what not, PES 18 is right there for you.
SUMMARY
These are both great games from my perspective, pushing the limits of what was thought possible in a game. If you care about building up your fantasy team and beating the best around the world while being part of a huge online community at the expense of a true representation of the beautiful sport at its deepest level . You are here for FIFA 18.
